Hence why I don't want a tattoo, it fades away. They look good initially, but to me when they start to fade and become that grey and blue rusted colour it puts me off.
That's why you get touchups. Can we say free? hehe. That and they don't fade that badly, you also gotta remember the sentences are still fresh.. My first shower AFTER getting them, so of course they're much darker.. they'll drop a little when its' healed.
Can't go wrong on them with free touch ups for life eh?
That and I think getting a touch up doesn't hurt as bad as the original because it's going over what's already there. (If it hurt at all)

Bump incase anyone missed it.
I refuse to let mine get tanned or burned. I'll put on soooo much sun block when in the sun that not a ray can get to my ink. ruins them to burn them

...Sorry, man! I'll stop now!
I do that mainly with mine.. I hate the fact that they fade at all.. Look at the difference in color between the new ones and my old one.. Sucks, but I'll eventually get the original touchedup. Jason (My tattooist now) said it'd be close to 100 to touch it up because he'd have to go over the entire thing again now, the color would be different if not. I don't feel that's too bad of a price really, considering he'd be touching up someone elses work (My previous artist has left the establishment I used to go to and will not more then likely go again considering the price tag they wanted on what I got at No Regrets, 225 versus 150.)
Now I'd still go for any piercings there, just more then likely no tattooing. Then again the guy who quoted me 225 is new, doesn't know I'm a regular there.
